LA LUZ Y EL ALMAHace unos días, Rafa Martín, en Las Horas Perdidas, publicó un interesante artículo sobre la elección de la mejor fotografía cinematográfica de la última década. Una clasificación creada por la ASC (Asociación de Estadounidense de Directores de Fotografía), con una amplia lista de las cintas con mejor fotografía entre 1998-2008. no de los apartados técnicos del séptimo arte, más interesantes y sugerentes junto al montaje y la banda sonora. John Toll, Emmanuel Lubezki, Janusz Kaminski, entre otrs grandes contemporáneos, han iluminado la vista de grandes clásicos de los últimos años. La elección de la ASC, es totalmente acertada, aunque la clasificación según opinión personal, si cambiaría muchos puestos. La fotografía de Emmanuel Lubezki por El Nuevo Mundo, Rodrigo Prieto (Brokeback Mountain), Wally Pfister (El Prestigio: El Truco Final) y Harris Savides (Zodiac), podrían estar más valoradas en una clasificación cuya presencia ya es un premio.
Javier Aguirresarobe, es el mayor exponente español en este campo cuyos trabajos están haciendo que su cotización suba. Con La Carretera (The Road, 2009), se hizo un nombre y ahora destaca con Eclipse (2010). Un enorme talento que dará momentos excelentes al cine mundial.
